 We expect to leverage technology to decrease the friction in bringing together organizations and students in a seamless manner. Our first product in this journey is Zillup - a Mobile app to help Not-for-Profits find Volunteers and for high school students to find volunteer opportunities. In the first year; we are looking to target high schools in Illinois. There are approximately 1250 high schools (private and public) and 150K high school students who graduate every year. Our goal in the first 3 years is to get 25% penetration in Illinois schools. Our first milestone within the next 2 years is to get 100K volunteer hours recorded through the platform. Foundation for Student Success will also support student created Not-for-Profits that provide opportunities for students to volunteer as well as support causes that are youth and education focused. The first Not-for-Profit we support is Wind River Wings. |
